Golf Near ZM Stays
Championship desert courses, lit driving ranges, and Topgolf — minutes from your door.
The Valley of the Sun has more than 200 courses, and our corner of North Phoenix sits in the middle of the best of them — Mark plays most of these regularly, so distances and advice below are first-hand. Peak season (January–April) tee times at the marquee courses book 60–90 days out; summer twilight rates are the Valley’s best golf bargain. Clubs travel fine in the garage, or rent from any course below. A note on seasons: January–April is prime time (book everything early and expect premium rates), May and October are the locals’ favorite value windows, and June–September twilight golf — first tee at 3 PM, finished by sunset, pool by dark — is an experience every visiting golfer should try once.
TPC Scottsdale — Stadium Course
Home of the WM Phoenix Open and the famous par-3 16th stadium hole. Fully public — play the exact course the pros play, then re-live your tee shot at the clubhouse. Book 60–90 days out in peak season.

The Stadium’s sibling delivers the same conditioning at roughly half the rate — our pick for groups with mixed handicaps who still want the TPC logo on the scorecard.

Get directions ↗We-Ko-Pa — Saguaro & Cholla

Get directions ↗Topgolf Scottsdale
For the mixed group: climate-controlled bays, games, food and drinks. Take the non-golfers here Friday night, then sneak off to TPC Saturday morning.
Get directions ↗Talking Stick Golf Club — O’odham & Piipaash
